It’s increasingly important to have headshots and individual portraits that reflect who you are in a beautiful and natural way.

Before the shoot I take great care to understand what you are looking for, the purpose of the photographs and to find an appropriate location for the shoot. I also provide guidance on colours and clothing; what best suits your personality and style and what works most effectively in a photograph.

I specialise in portraits and lifestyle photography, both on location and in a studio, capturing you in your personal or working environment depending on the purpose of your headshots and what you’d like to communicate. The result is a choice of beautiful images for you to use across your website and social media or for personal purposes.

Taking portraits is an honour and I consider it my greatest achievement when I’m told that a photograph has truly captured someone’s character. What inspires me is making people feel and look wonderful; I take the time to understand what is important to you so that I can take timeless photographs that beautifully and naturally reflect who you are.

Where are the photos taken?

I can take the photographs in my home studio or on location in a local park or place of your choice. My home studio is situated in Teddington, between Twickenham and Kingston-upon-Thames. It is conveniently located for public transport and there is parking directly outside.

There are also a variety of wonderful spots nearby for on location shoots, including Bushy Park and the area around Teddington and Richmond Borough.

How long does it the shoot take?

Allow one hour for the session to give us time to capture the photos you would like.

How do I book?

Just call me directly to discuss and book your session; or send me an enquiry form and I’ll come straight back to you. We’ll arrange a pre-session consultation so we can discuss what you are looking for, your artistic preferences and what works best for you.

What help can you provide on what to wear?

I provide guidance on what to wear and what styles and colours work best for you and the purposes of your photographs. Bring along any of your favourite outfits and remember the photographs are a celebration of you – so simple, plain colours and outfits are often best. We can discuss possibilities and combinations when you call and work out what options work best for you.

I don’t like having my photo taken – can you help?

Absolutely! I take time and care to understand what you are looking for. This may also include your objectives with your profile photographs, as well as any thoughts or concerns you may have before the shoot. I also provide guidance on clothing and what to wear so that you feel comfortable and at ease on the day. That way we can focus on having a wonderful time at the shoot and bringing out the very best in you.

Can I bring a variety of outfits?

Definitely! I recommend you bring a few alternative outfits and we’ll discuss what might work best before the shoot. I also encourage you to bring layers such as scarves and jackets to create a variety of looks within each outfit.

This ensures you look and feel great on the day with clothes and colours that truly bring out the best in you.

When will we see the images?

We’ll schedule a date for you to see the portraits about one week after the session. I’ll show you a gallery of the very best of your images and that’s when you’ll choose and order the ones you love most.
