"Our family shoot with Jackie was such a happy occasion. We just smiled and laughed from start to finish! The photographs were simply amazing, we were quite overwhelmed with the results."

ANNE AND DEEPAK

Family Photography

My passion is capturing moments that can be treasured forever… a fleeting emotion, a special moment between loved ones, expressions of happiness and joy.

I’ve always loved photographing people and capturing memories. I began by taking portraits of my own family and I know how much we love and treasure those images. There is something so special about looking through family photos and re-living precious moments together.

Taking portraits is an honour and I consider it my greatest achievement when I’m told that a photograph has truly captured someone’s character. What inspires me is making people feel and look wonderful; I take the time to understand what is important to you so that I can take timeless photographs that beautifully and naturally reflect who you are.

My photography has been featured in a variety of international publications such as Marie Claire, Travel + Leisure Magazine and I was Finalist for Travel Photographer of the Year.

I am a member of the Society for Wedding and Portrait Photographers as well as the Newborn Art Academy. I also run photography training courses and workshops around London, including the photography courses for the London Wetland Centre in Barnes.

Please do give me a call or request a callback to find out more – I’d love to hear from you.

FAQs

How long does the session last?

Allow up to 2 hours for your session. This will allow us to capture the photos you really want and try some things you may not have considered.

What should I wear and bring?

Think about colour combinations across your family group. Simple is best to avoid distraction from the main focus – which is you! Plain colours and mid-tone neutral shades often work well; avoid bold designs, logos and words.

Accessories such as watches and jewellery can distract and are generally best avoided.

Props are welcome – favourite toys or cuddly friends help keep little ones happy and entertained.

A change of outfit is recommended for different looks and poses – and in case of mishaps for younger children!

Non-messy snacks and drinks are essential to keep energy levels up with smaller children.

How much does it cost / What can I buy at the ordering session?

I offer a range of prices and packages and would be delighted to discuss what you’re looking for and provide details. Please get in touch anytime for more information.

Your photographs will be available in all formats, from archival quality prints to canvases, frames, photo books and also digital copies, so you can buy whatever you would treasure most.

My aim is to offer a range of artwork with the highest standards of image quality and character; from single photographic archival quality prints starting at £49, to large Framed Artworks costing up to £800 – and everything in between. I offer Fine Art Canvases, Framed and Unframed Art, luxury Heirloom Albums of various sizes, as well as collections of fully retouched images on USB with copyright permission for printing – perfect for creating gifts for friends and family.

I also offer special packages on the day of the viewing and am always happy to explore ways to provide your ideal combination.

How do I book?

Just call me directly to discuss and book your session; or alternatively, you can send me an enquiry form with your preferred date and I’ll come straight back to you. We’ll arrange a pre-session consultation so we can discuss what you are looking for, your artistic preferences and what works best for you.
