About me

There is something so precious about photographs of those we love.

My passion is capturing timeless moments that you will treasure forever … a fleeting emotion, a unique interaction between loved ones, an expression of happiness, thoughtfulness or joy.

I specialise in Newborn, Maternity and Family portraiture and I teach and mentor in photography.

Taking personal portraits is an honour and I consider it my greatest achievement when I’m told that a photograph has truly captured someone’s character. What inspires me is making people feel and look wonderful. I take the time to fully understand what you are looking for and with many years of successful experience I am able to provide a wonderfully warm and relaxing environment for your session.

This allows me to capture the very best portraits of you and your loved ones and take photographs that are timeless; beautifully and naturally reflecting who you are.

For my own inspiration and to deepen my photography knowledge and experience, I invest continually in my own development.  My photography has been featured in a variety of international publications such as Marie Claire, Travel + Leisure Magazine and I was Finalist for Travel Photographer of the Year.

I am a member of the Society for Wedding and Portrait Photographers as well as the Newborn Art Academy. I also run all the photography courses for the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington.

Please do give me a call or request a callback to find out more about my portrait sessions and my training and mentoring – I’d love to hear from you.

About me | Portrait photographer and training in London| Jackie Rado Photography

Photography is not just my profession it’s what I love doing most. I offer training and mentoring to photographers of all levels. I particularly delight in teaching and sharing my experience to help others achieve extraordinary results that surpass their expectations. We are all born with an innate imagination and I love to unlock creativity in others and build skills and confidence.

I’ve always loved photography, although I didn’t set out to be a professional photographer. After the birth of our second child I took a break from my career in business consulting to follow my passion. We’d just moved to Thailand and I wanted to record this exciting time in our lives, living and travelling in Asia. Soon others were asking me to do the same for them; and since 2008 I’ve been a full-time photographer.

"JACKIE HAS OPENED MY EYES TO THE WORLD OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND WHAT IT TAKES TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPHS. SHE DELIVERS THE CONTENT WITH CLARITY AND A REAL PASSION FOR HER PROFESSION. THANK YOU, JACKIE, FOR OPENING MY EYES TO THE WORLD OF TAKING GREAT PHOTOGRAPHS!"
